While we were waiting on Dale to bring Janice and Sarah down the river, Mark drove us around to get a better look at the coons we kept hearing.
This one came down to pose for us, or the other one chased him down- not sure, but they were not nice to each other, even with us being so close.
He was not at all camera shy though, even with Mark barking for us to keep him in the tree.
The other one was not as friendly. He hissed a few times, and was intent on the first one leaving the tree!
Here they both are.
"You can't hog all the spotlight!"
He wanted to sit there! Right where the first one had been!
The first one played peek-a-boo around the tree his whole way down. Sticking his head out one side, then going down a bit and poking his head around on the other side.
There he goes, he didn't run though- I guess he was trying to fake calm- he just meandered on across the swamp. I followed in a minute across that log there at the bottom to get better pictures- but I was too busy not falling off to actually snap anymore of him.
Your pics of the coons turned out way better than mine, except I have the ones of Y.O.U.!

ReplyDeleteHaha, one thing I learned in photo class- it's digital, take a zillion pictures, pick out the good ones later, delete the bad ones- then you look like you really know what you're doing.
