The first hunt of 2009, and my last dog-hunt of the season.
The season in the management area officially ended 1/4/2009, but since it was the last weekend and the boys wanted to be "huntin hard" I sat out this weekend (and actually got things done around my house, haha).
These are pictures from the first day of the year!
Leftover from our New Year festivities, we had a full bar packed up in the cooler! 
Skyy Vodka, Wild Turkey, 2 bottles of Lord Calvert, 2-liter Coke, 2-liter Pepsi, ice, Ben's cup, and glass bottle cokes...NICE!
My boys were all about huntin... haha, it's hard to hear the dogs with Diesel panting next to you.
The dogs were coming...so we had to wait (which is hard to do quietly on all those crunchy leaves)
Ben snuck and took these pictures, I would have turned around and smiled at least for one...haha. He said here that I should practice throwing the gun up to aim.

Diesel was thirsty, he got to run with the beagles, and he already drank all the water from the cooler...so Ben made him a drink.
He wasn't so sure about that (smart boy)
Frank was ready to drink it if he didn't I think...
His daddy is such a bad influence on him! He even put ice in is drink though...haha
Now he gets it!
Drinkin together... he's 3, so in dog years that's old enough to drink! haha.Silly boys.
