The first deer of the season was COMPLETELY LEGAL!!! Muzzle-loader season opened this weekend, Ben got this buck Saturday at a feeder that had been putting out corn all year, on his property, with a muzzle loader! Hence the excitement...
He had to hold his ears to make sure you could see the horns in the picture.
Daniel drove him around to brag about him while Ben was at work.
But the other part of the agreement was that he would clean him- he was gut shot, and Daniel was hung over...it made for a rather unpleasant end to his morning. ;-)
Just one more for the "Deer Slayer", hahaThere will be PLENTY MORE this season I'm sure...I won't post about EVERY one, but this is the first of '08!
